TikTok將就美方相關(guān)行政令提起訴訟

總部位于洛杉磯的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)公司TikTok8月22日宣布，將就美國(guó)政府涉及該公司及其母公司字節(jié)跳動(dòng)的行政令提起訴訟，以維護(hù)自身合法權(quán)益。

"Over the past year we have earnestly sought to communicate with the US government and provided solutions regarding its concerns," the company said in a statement on Sunday. "But the US administration disregarded facts, disobeyed necessary legal procedures and tried to insert itself into negotiations between private businesses. "To ensure that the rule of law is not discarded, and that our company and users are treated fairly, we announce that we will officially file a lawsuit to safeguard our interests."

TikTok當(dāng)天發(fā)布聲明說(shuō)：“近一年來(lái)，我們懷著真誠(chéng)的態(tài)度，尋求跟美國(guó)政府溝通，針對(duì)他們所提出的顧慮提供解決方案。但美國(guó)政府罔顧事實(shí)，不遵循正當(dāng)法律程序，甚至試圖強(qiáng)行介入商業(yè)公司談判。為確保法治不被摒棄，確保公司和用戶(hù)獲得公正的對(duì)待，我們將通過(guò)訴訟維護(hù)權(quán)益。”

【單詞講解】

這里的disregard facts(罔顧事實(shí))和disobey necessary legal procedures(不遵循正當(dāng)法律程序)中用到的disregard和disobey都是在動(dòng)詞前面加了表示否定的前綴“dis”后(dis+regard以及dis+obey)表示與原動(dòng)詞相反的意思，其他類(lèi)似的詞還有disappear，dishonest，disagree，disapprove等。

Trump signed the directive on Aug 6 blocking all transactions with ByteDance in an effort to "address the national emergency". The order was to take effect within 45 days.

On Aug 14, the president signed another executive order, this time giving ByteDance 90 days to sell or spin off TikTok in the United States.

Besides the company's lawsuit, its US employees plan to take the US government to court over the directive.
