We came over to Hong Kong and that was when they showed the premiere of The Big Boss.The theatre was packed.

我們?nèi)チ讼愀?，那時(shí)《唐山大兄》首映，影院人滿為患。

Bruce and I sat there towards the back.

我和布魯斯坐在最后排

When Bruce Lee's first movie showed in Hollywood I was so elated I was so emotional seeing my friend, my teacher, on the screen.

當(dāng)李小龍的第一部電影在好萊塢上映的時(shí)候，我因能在熒幕上看到我的朋友兼老師而欣喜若狂，不能自已。

When the movie finishes, it is so quiet...You could hear a pin drop.And Bruce is like, "Oh no. They hate it. You know."

電影結(jié)束時(shí)一片寂靜，掉根針都能聽(tīng)見(jiàn)。布魯斯說(shuō)，糟糕，他們不喜歡這電影。

And all of a sudden...A huge roar goes up.And they're cheering and laughing and clapping.It was wonderful.Every time he came on and did his fight scene, everybody applauded.

突然，歡呼聲起，觀眾歡呼狂笑，鼓掌不止。太棒了。他每次出現(xiàn)在動(dòng)作場(chǎng)面中都會(huì)贏得一片歡呼

That's when we knew he was a movie star now.And then they started to spot Bruce in the audience.They carried him out on their shoulders.

那時(shí)我們意識(shí)到他是個(gè)電影明星了，然后人們?cè)谟^眾席中認(rèn)出了布魯斯。他們把他架在肩膀上。

Oh, it was thrilling. It was thrilling to him."Finally I have been appreciated in my work."It was wonderfu, a very high moment in his life.
