"Help is here!" he said.
“幫手在這!”小狐說。
"Not so fast," said the owner. "Can you sell shoes?"
“哪有那么快,”店主說。“你會(huì)賣鞋嗎?”
"Of course, I can," said Fox.
“當(dāng)然會(huì)了,”小狐說。
"Are you honest?" said the owner.
“你誠(chéng)實(shí)嗎?”店主說。
"Oh, yes!" said Fox.
“誠(chéng)實(shí)!”小狐說。
"Well," said the owner. "Let's give it a try. You can start right away."
“那么,”店主說,“你試試吧,現(xiàn)在就開始。”
And he went to eat his lunch.
說完店主去吃午飯了。
Fox kept himself busy.
小狐忙起來。
"What an easy job," he said.
“這工作真簡(jiǎn)單,”他說。
"Excuse me," said a lady. "Can you help me?"
“打擾一下, 一位女士說,“能幫我個(gè)忙嗎?”
"That's what I'm here for," said Fox.
“樂意效勞,”小狐說。
"I need some shoes," said the lady. "Some pretty little pink ones."
“我需要買鞋,”女士說,“要小巧漂亮,粉紅色的。”
Fox looked at the lady's feet.
小狐看了看那位女士的腳。
